Assistant Principal: Religious Education (AP: RE)

The role of the Assistant Principal: Religious Education is primarily to:

1. Plan and co-operate with the Principal and the Parish Priest regarding the Archdiocesan Religious Education curriculum “Good News for Living”.
2. Monitor the school’s Religious Education curriculum with consideration for local needs.
3. Co-ordinate the Religious Education curriculum through collaborative planning processes.
4. Advise the Principal and staff of Religious Education resources needed to implement the curriculum and arrange for the organisation of resources, so that staff may have ready access to them.
5. Assist staff by promoting the collaborative sharing of ideas and resources to enable the curriculum to be effective.
