Accidents to students
Parents will be contacted and informed if their children are injured while at school or on school-related excursions, camps and sporting activities. If immediate contact is unable to be made with parents (or designated emergency contact people), the school will act on parents’ behalf in having the injury medically assessed. Members of staff, who are qualified in First Aid, are responsible for overseeing simple treatment if required.
Precise details of contact names and numbers are required on the Student Details Form, which is issued to parents annually in first term. This information is vital should an accident occur and parents need to be contacted.
